Do I Need To Get A Cervical Cancer Vaccine?

The HPV vaccine is recommended for women 13 to 26 years old, but older women who are sexually active may consider getting one as well. It is normally given in a series of three injections over a six-month period, and side effects may include low-grade fever and soreness in the arm for a few days.

Being informed is an important first step to being protected. Discuss the benefits of getting the cervical cancer vaccine with your OB-Gynecologist and make an informed choice.
